On September 9, 2001, a plane crashes at the North Tower of the World Trade Center at 8:45 am. An hour later another plane crashes at Washington, D.C., and slams into the west side of the Pentagon military headquarters. Minutes after, the South Tower is hit by another plane. At 10:30 am, both the North and South Towers calliopes at New York City. 3,000 people were killed in the towers, including 343 fire fighters, 23 police officers, and 37 Port Authority police officers. 10,000 people were treated from injuries and many were severe. 19 militants associated with the Islamic extremist group al-Qaeda were evicted and the leader of the group, Osama bins Laden, who was killed on May 2, 2011.
How could this terrible thing even ever happen? For this to happen is like the chances for me to win the lottery. How wasn’t the US military or air force able to prevent this from happening? It just very depressing to find out how many people who died from this incident. But I cannot really feel the moment that most people had because I was only two years old, but I really can feel the intensity and soreness that most people feel about 9/11. Learning more about 9/11, I really wonder how the security is advanced now than twelve years ago when 9/11 happened. Founding out about 9/11, I really got to see how the nation got so much closer after 9/11 happened, and that it didn’t matter about your race or age. Many lives were changed after this dramatic incident happened. This incident makes me think differently now than I did before, about situations that happens in my life.
Honestly, I really think that this should have never happened and that the US military and air force should have been aware of the fact that Al quad a was going to crash the World Trade Center. In addition, how did Al quad a get the air planes to be able to hit the buildings? For the fact that it happen, it killed many innocent people who were living there lives and...
